About Sarah

Over the last 10 years I have spent countless hours working with children 4mo-18yr. Most of my early experience is through working with infants and toddlers at ECEC at SFSU where the focus is on developing socio-emotional skills in a group-care setting. During that time, I also gained experience exploring public spaces while babysitting including parks & museums. By spending one on one time with children in public spaces I was able to better assess how children can learn and grow outside of the class. For 7 years I have held various roles at Skate Like a Girl including program staff, Program Manager, and Chapter Director, working with a team to create safe spaces for all, especially youth 5-18 years old. Most recently I have gained nannying experience working with 3 different families ranging from ages 3-10 years old assisting with a variety of after school activities including tutoring, guided informal time, and sports training.
