About Sarah

Empowering students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching philosophy. With 10 years of experience as a paraprofessional, substitute, and Certified teacher, I specialize in helping students from elementary school through college master Math, Science, English, and test preparation. I build confidence by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to your personal interests. Because I prioritize open communication, I actively adapt my strategies--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to match your unique learning style. I hold CPR training and First Aid certifications to ensure a safe environment. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am dedicated to fostering critical thinking and celebrating every "aha!" moment we achieve together. My greatest joy comes from building a supportive rapport that turns academic challenges into lasting success, and I look forward to helping you reach your goals.
