I enjoy caring for seniors because I have just finished graduate school with a degree in mental health counseling and I am interested in eventually specializing in working with older clientele. I started caring for seniors six years ago when an older relative needed additional care after suffering a traumatic brain injury. I cared for another relative during his last months of cancer treatment and hospice care. I have most recently provided care for a wheelchair bound client with multiple sclerosis and am experienced with mobility. In my spare time, I like to hike, listen to music and paint. My skills include patience, creativity, humor and compassion!
