About Sara

Nice to meet you! A little about my background: My first job at 15 was teaching youth swim lessons. Since then, I have never found a job more fulfilling or fun than teaching. These experiences ultimately led me to pursue education as a career. After graduate school, I taught for five years in the Seattle Public School system (four years of fifth grade, one year of 6-8) before moving to New Jersey, where I subbed in Newark Public Schools. We recently moved to Fort Myers for my fiancé's job, and I look forward to continuing my career in our new home. Outside work, I have spent time caring for the children of my friends and family as well. I also enjoy reading (mostly nonfiction, occasionally thrillers), spending time outdoors, cooking, and attending live music / theatre. In sum, I have a passion for working with kids. I work hard to create experiences that are safe, educational, memorable, and fun. I look forward to meeting your wonderful family :)
