My calling to care for others stems from a deep-seated desire to champion the well-being and independence of adults and seniors, as well as to support their families with a reliable care option. For the last decade, I've provided comprehensive care, including transportation, errands, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility assistance. I also assist with dementia, medical management, and physical activity. My experience as a full-time caregiver for my mother, who had Alzheimer's, gave me invaluable insight into the specific needs of individuals with memory care needs. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and redirect attention when needed. I am compassionate, empathetic, friendly, and approachable. I provide regular updates via text or phone call, and I always follow the family's preferred communication method. Because I am a senior myself, I can relate to other seniors, which allows for understanding and meaningful conversations.
