About Sandra

While working as a lead teacher at Bear Hugs Preschool and Child Care I took responsibility of caregiving and youth development for infants and toddlers, ages 3 months - 5 years. I focused on curriculum development to improve children's fine motor, gross motor, and language skills while creating my own weekly lesson plans which followed the state's academic criteria for each age group. After being promoted within the childcare company, I became essential to the office staff which required administrative and business support, including office management, inspection and audits, accreditation preparation, parent communication, and payment management. I have received my full 45 hour DCF certified training and certification, I am CPR certified as well. I adored my job at Bear Hugs while being surrounded by children at all times, kids are what makes me smile!
