About Sandra

I have 5 children, and caring for kids has always been a big part of my life. I know how hard it is to leave your child with someone new, so I treat every child with the same love, patience, care, and respect I give my own. I am calm, gentle, responsible, hands-on, reliable, and easy to communicate with. I have experience with children of all ages, from infants to teens, including supporting multiple children at once. I help with routines, smoother transitions, emotional regulation, play, meals, light cleanup, and creating a calm, safe environment. As a mother of neurodivergent children, I have personal experience with ADHD, speech delays, sensory needs, and different learning or developmental needs. Currently pursuing an AA in Paralegal Studies and an AA in Child Development, which supports the way I work with children and families. I am CPR/First Aid certified with choking response experience, bilingual in English and Spanish, San Jose CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) member.
