I am a music teacher and caregiver with over 25 years of experience working with children in Colombia. I have experience working with children with autism, developmental delays, and visual impairments. I use music, colors, art, reading, writing, and creative activities to encourage communication, learning, confidence, and social interaction. I have worked with many children with special needs, including a nonverbal French child with autism. Even though I did not speak French, I was able to help him develop communication, reading, writing, and Spanish language skills through music and individualized teaching. I am patient, caring, reliable, and dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential. My primary language is Spanish, and I am currently learning English. I can communicate using translation apps when needed.
