About Sam

Hi! I have been working in childcare for the last 7 years - 5 years in daycares with a focus in infants but experience in all aged classrooms, and then 2 years as a nanny! In my time working with children, I have experienced many different teaching styles, with my favorite being the Montessori approach. I believe in a very child led approach, and I believe that children are really capable of anything if they are given the time, space, and encouragement to try. My favorite activity is art! I love getting the opportunity to foster a child's ever growing creativity and imagination. I also love getting the opportunity to explore places like the zoo, science center, or even just a local park or library.
