About Sammy

Hi! My name is Sammy, I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development at Sacramento State, with the goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. I recently graduated from American River College with my Associate degree in Social Science. I have hands-on experience working in a 4th grade classroom as a teacher's aide, where I supported students in reading, math, and classroom activities. In addition to my classroom experience, I also spent a year nannying an 8-year-old girl for a family I connected with through Care. com. I picked her up from school each day and planned engaging activities for us to do in the afternoons, while also helping with snacks, meals, and occasional errands. On my down time, I love spending time outdoors, taking my dog everywhere with me, paddle boarding, reading, and meeting new people. I'm available for part-time/full time nanny work and look forward to meeting a family that values compassion, learning, and trust.
