About Samantha

Hello! My name is Samantha and I am a senior at Cal State University, Long Beach. I'm majoring in Child Development and Family Studies. I am currently working with children, ages varying around 10 years old, as a behavioral technician. I also have work experience at two child development centers in and around Long Beach. I worked as a teacher's assistant for a year, working with children 2-5 years old. During this position, I created developmentally appropriate activities, ran circle time daily and even facilitated kindergarten readiness. As a part of my major, I interned at a child development center and had 60 hours of mentored work. Before college, I babysat often for family and friends throughout high school. I can cook, bake, create fun activities as well as change diapers, and complete household chores. I am also CPR and first aid certified. I am very active and love outdoor activities in my spare time. I am so excited to get to know you and your family!
