About Dana

Hi there! My name is Dana, I'd describe my personality as upbeat, responsible, and thoughtful. I am a student at long beach city college working on my AA-T in child development education and will be majoring my bachelor's in child psychology to eventually my Psy-D to be a child therapist. I started working with kids when I was 18, I have worked as an Instructional Aide at a high school and elementary school, working one on one with students with mild to moderate mental disabilities. I have also worked at a summer program being in charge of up to 20 kids ranging from 5 to 12 years old, coming up with a new project or activity everyday. I was a full time nanny for an 18-month-old until she was 2. 6 years old when she started at daycare. We worked on Montessori activities, and walked to the park everyday and I made her snacks and performed daily household chores such as laundry, dishes, and organizing, while she napped.
