About Samantha

I am an allied health provider (pediatric audiologist) with a doctorate degree and extensive childcare experience as well as experience working with children who are disabled/have special needs. In my full time job I work with children ages 0-22 years daily with a variety of needs/abilities who are deaf/hard of hearing. I worked as an in home support worker for several years for a child with down syndrome and as a provider at a day-hab with an autistic young adult. I also worked with deaf children in a classroom setting helping with recess activities and supporting development. I work with children daily and have significant course work experience regarding speech development, language, child development, psychology, and (of course) hearing!
