About Samantha

I am someone who is creative, reliable and passionate about creating positive environments that help children grow. I have a background in child development and a degree in psychology from Penn State. On and off for the last 10 years, I have been working with children ages ranging from 4 months to 13 years old. This includes nanny/sitter jobs. I worked as a preschool/middle school camp counselor for two summers, in which I enjoyed planning, creating and leading activities for children. In 2019, I founded and developed my own mentor program for teen girls in which I created activities and led discussions on topics related to empathy, purpose, building a growth mindset and more. I enjoy applying the skills and knowledge I've gained through these experiences when working with kids. I'm a nanny who puts in the effort to be attentive to children, keeping them entertained and creating a positive experience. Additionally, I am CPR certified.
