About Samantha

I'm an easy going, fun loving, hardworking person, and I love working with people (especially kids). In my spare time I'm either outside, listening to music, or reading. My love for children and education has led me to pursue my EdS in school psychology. I have my bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in sociology & disaster studies from SUNY New Paltz. In terms of childcare, I have over 5 years of experience with children. I have babysat children ranging from ages one to 10. I've also had experience watching multiple children at once. I have formal experience with middle-school aged student assisting during class periods and running an after school program. I've also had formal experience working with preschool aged children with behavior difficulties transitioning into kindergarten and facilitating a school readiness parenting program. Part time availability (Monday through Thursday 4:00-8:30/weekends are flexible).
