About Samantha

In my spare time, I like to hike, spend time with my daughters, backpack, cook, and read. One thing you should know about me is I love working with children who haven't always had the best experience with math and reading. I am raising two daughters with ADHD, learning disabilities, and high functioning autism. I have been working in education since 2012 and have experience teaching children grades 1-8 and have tutoring experience in college mathematics. Currently, I teach middle school math at a private college prep school I. west County and have experience teaching reading and writing at the middle school level as well. My skills include positive reinforcement, a focus on the whole child, experience with struggling readers, and children of diverse backgrounds.
