Hi! I'm Salma and I'm a dedicated caregiver recently relocated to the beautiful Central Coast. I bring a holistic, well-rounded approach to childcare, focusing on nurturing a child's creativity, physical health, and intellectual curiosity. With a professional background as an artist and designer, I believe that play is a child's most important work. For many years, I led youth art programs, and I love bringing that expertise into the home. Whether it's unstructured creative time, DIY recycled crafts, or building elaborate cardboard furniture, I love helping children express themselves through art. I'm not the type of caregiver to just sit on the sidelines; I love jumping right in and finding fun ways to learn throughout the day. A typical day usually involves plenty of creative projects mixed with outdoor adventures while incorporating learning opportunities into play. Overall, I make sure there's a good balance of fun, healthy snacks, and plenty of emotional support and downtime.
