Hello! My name is Sakile. I am a full-time Economics student spending the fall semester in Washington, DC through American University. I have four years of babysitting experience with children ages 4-13, and experience as a camp counselor, tutor, mentor, and volunteer. I am also an older sister and have helped care for my two younger brothers. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, journaling, gardening, exploring nature, and traveling. I love the curiosity and creativity children bring to everyday life and enjoy engaging them through arts and crafts, reading, outdoor activities, and imaginative play. I am happy to help with childcare, homework, meal preparation, and school or activity pickup and drop-off. I am responsible, patient, organized, and a strong communicator. I am looking for occasional or part-time work, primarily weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to discuss your family's needs!
I would highly recommend Sakile as a babysitter. She is an excellent caregiver. She has worked with our family as a babysitter for over 2 years. Our children (ages 6,10 and 13) always enjoy their time with Sakile. She is punctual, conscientious, kind and creative. She brings a calming energy to any space. At the same time, she is happy to jump in with fun activities, games and trips to the park or pool. Sakile is an intelligent, thoughtful and caring young woman. You would be fortunate to work with her.
