About Sakari

Hi! I'm Sakari. I'm a former toddler/preschool teacher of 4 years. Having a class of 24, I have navigated the uniquely different personalities and quirks of MANY children. During my time as a teacher I helped and communicated with many families regarding their child's developmental milestones including speech, gross motor, fine motor, potty training, and anything else parents needed support in. It's important for adults to understand children as the tiny human sponges they are and guide them with patience because they JUST GOT HERE. Despite being so new to the world and having to learn concepts big and small, they catch on so quickly! As their caregiver, we will be exploring and investigating, making art and music, and learning/practicing good manners and self-sufficiency skills. I love being able to give them with the tools they need to blossom.
