About Saige

Hello! I currently work as a full time private teacher for a homeschooling family pursuing a global learning experience. I design tailored lessons to meet the needs and interests of their elementary-middle school children. I have previously taught 5-8th grade math, Algebra 1, Integrated Math 1 and 3, high school precalculus, and 8th grade science. I earned the Blue Ribbon Teaching award in 2024 and was named a Master Teacher by LEAD Public Schools in 2025. I graduated with my Bachelors in Human Development from Cornell University and began teaching through Teach for America Nashville in 2018. I am certified in 6-12 biology and math, as well as English as a Second Language. I earned my Masters of Science in Math Education from Johns Hopkins University in 2021. I specialize in developmentally appropriate and research backed practices. When I'm not working, you'll likely find me curled up with the crossword, binging survivor, or on the hunt for the best sushi in the city.
