About Sage

Hi, my name is Sage! I'm fluent in English and Spanish, and I have more than 8 years of experience working with kids. Most recently, I worked as a Lead Infant/ Toddler Teacher at an early childhood education center. Before that, I was Program Lead at a school-age center in West Linn. I have more than 60 certified training hours in childcare, including a current Adult/ Pediatric CPR certification and Oregon Food Handlers card. I'm also enrolled in Oregon's Central Background Registry and would be more than happy to get you in contact with families I've worked with previously as references! Whether a child is 11 weeks old or 11 years old, I work to form a genuine connection built on mutual trust and respect. Beyond verbal communication, I observe behaviors, body language, and play to develop a greater idea of how to support each child. I approach every interaction with curiosity and listen to understand. Let me know if you think I might be a good fit for your family!
