Empathy, compassion, caring is what it takes to be a great caregiver. My first experience was for a family member who had ALS. I spent the last two years that she had helping with her daily needs. Companionship, along with other personal matters. I also spent time working at an Assisted Living facility for approximately two years, one during COVID. During that time I had anywhere from 5 to 15 residents to care for on a daily shift. Some with more independence and others almost completely dependent in the memory care unit. I exited my position at the facility and went into one on one private care for two families that found me on this website actually! Message me for more information!
