About Ruth

Hi! My name is Ruthie, and I have a deep passion for working with children of all ages. I've gained valuable experience as a babysitter, an overnight camp counselor at the YMCA, and through my internship at the Boys & Girls Club. These roles have taught me how to create a fun, structured, and safe environment where kids feel supported, heard, and cared for day or night. As an overnight counselor, I was responsible for helping kids settle in at night, managing bedtime routines, and being a calm, dependable presence during any late-night needs. I'm also confident in handling morning transitions and early activities. I'm comfortable cooking meals or snacks, providing rides when needed (I have a reliable car and clean driving record), and organizing games, crafts, or quiet time depending on the situation.
