My name is Ruthie B and I have worked in childcare and senior care for 5+ years. I have a B. A. from Pitt in Media and Communication. I started out with babysitting for friends and family. I was hired at Beth Jacob Preschool at the request of the parents who were my clients. My training has mostly been in Reggio, but I have learned and incorporated methods of Montessori as well. I am certified in CPR. I am also certified for Behavior In The Early Childhood CLassroom (Certificate available up request.) My favorite ages are the preschool years. I believe in fresh air, relentless positive reinforcement, active play, healthy boundaries and honest communication between child and caregiver. The services I am currently offering include childcare/nannying, babysitting, light housekeeping/household assistance and meal prep, local errands, I use public transportation and ride service, but I don't foresee that being an expense for my clients.
