About Ruth

Hello! My name is Ruth and I am a retired children's librarian and a former lead teacher in an after-school program in West Seattle. I am looking for occasional work providing babysitting or cat sitting services or a nanny position. Is your regular nanny ill? Babysitter cancelled? I can fulfill last-minute requests, too. Highly creative, I have a master's degree in library and information science, specializing in children's services. As a librarian, I provided children's story times and created both craft and STEM programs. I enjoy being with kids and exploring books, art and nature. I love both cats and dogs, so your pets are okay with me. A licensed driver with clean record, I rely on public transportation to get around. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
