One of my callings in life is to care for elders who need assistance in their lives. My journey began by caring for my great-grandmother after she broke her hip many years ago, an experience that taught me the importance of helping our elders live with ease and dignity. With two years of experience of live in care with my great grandmother Mary, I offer compassionate, detail-oriented support, including mobility assistance, meal preparation, and medication management, conversational connection, musical meditations (I play guitar and sing if the patient enjoys this). Whether I am providing respite care or live-in support, I focus on building trust through meaningful conversation and attentive presence. I am skilled at de-escalating stressful situations and adapting to changing routines with patience and calm. I prioritize your preferred communication style to keep you fully informed.
