About Ruby

Hello! I wanted to share a little about my background and experience with children. My journey began in high school when I started babysitting children of family friends. As I transitioned to college, I joined a volunteer program that focused on tutoring students from underprivileged schools. During my school breaks, I had the opportunity to work as a summer camp counselor, where I supervised campers and ensured their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and overall well-being. I was then hired as a community coordinator at a local high school, where I dedicated two years to helping high school students achieve academic and personal success. Currently, I am an elementary teacher at the Mobile County Public School System, where I have recently been honored as Teacher of the Year. I am interested in summer/short term positions. I am also CPR certified, which adds to my qualifications. Thank you for considering me!
