About Ruby

Hello! I am a recent graduate from the University of Oregon with my bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am passionate about working with children, and although my primary experience is with children ages 0-5, I love caring for all ages. I have 9 years of childcare experience, and I am currently an assistant teacher at a preschool, though I spend part of my time in our adjacent childcare program for infants. I am both First Aid and CPR certified and have my own car. I am a patient, empathetic, and creative person, and am conscious about channeling those traits into my work. I prioritize engaging the children I work with in age-appropriate activities that are enriching, explorative, stimulate their minds, and promote their development both indoors and outdoors.
