Hello, My name is Rubia, and I am 34 years old. I am a career nanny with more than 10 years of experience. I have experience with all ages including infants as young as 1-month-old and with twins. Additionally, I worked as an English as a Second Language teacher in Brazil, teaching children, teenagers, and adults. I also used to teach Sunday school at my church. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and an ESL Specialist certification. I speak both English and Portuguese. I have stellar references, and I am CPR certified. I am looking for a part-time nanny or family assistant position. If it is for a family assistant position, I can help with family laundry, meal prep, cooking, groceries, errands, etc. I am available for about 5 hours on either Tuesday or Thursday. I am only available on one of these days but am flexible about which day and can switch weekly if needed. My availability is between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Thank you!

Rubia is one-of-a-kind. She is the Nanny you wish for, when you start looking on Care.com. I am divorced father of two girls. I needed to care for them full time for a few years while also building a busy surgical practice. I can’t be late for work, I can’t call out, I can’t leave early. I was desperate for help, and then Rubia found us. Rubia was hired as our full time nanny and house manager. Rubia managed all aspects of my daughters daily lives (grade school age), all grocery shopping and meal preparation, all laundry, and basic tidying. Rubia does it all with real love and care. All aspects of child-care, all school related issues, summer camp, hygiene and homework, prayer and play, nutrition and nurturing. Rubia did it all. It comes natural to her. She will gladly take instruction and execute flawlessly, or she will take the reigns and impress you with her maturity and know-how. Rubia completely ran my household, on her own, for three years, with no problems. Rubia showed up everyday for 3 years. No call-outs ever. Not once. Rubia was there for us when we needed her most, and our needs have changed. But I know we will never experience that level of care and nannying again. That was a once in a lifetime experience.
