I care for your baby through the night, handling feedings, soothing, and helping your baby settle back to sleep smoothly so you can truly rest. I also gently guide healthy sleep habits from the beginning, helping your baby move toward longer, more restful stretches. I'm calm, reliable, and very comfortable with newborns, and I bring a peaceful, supportive presence into your home during those early weeks. CPR, First Aid, and AED certified through the American Red Cross. Fluent in English & Portuguese. I'd love to support you and help make this stage feel a little easier.

Seriously the best thing to happen to us beyond the birth of our child was hiring Ruama. This is an understatement, she is truly amazing at her craft. She started overnight with us when our son was just a few days old, I highly recommend starting her early. Not only is she fabulous with our son - patient, caring, nurturing, but she taught us so much about parenthood, including getting him on a good routine in a way that worked for him, how to set up the right environment for sleep, developmental milestones to be mindful of, etc. He is practically sleeping through the night at 9 weeks thanks solely to her. She is also very educated in all things newborn / early childhood development, with a great dose of flexibility and meeting our son where he was. She is vocal about when the next milestones are coming and what to do next. She knows the science and is a resource beyond compare. Highly recommend her to any family for newborn / infant care. Dependable, reliable, punctual, knowledgeable.
