About Roxanne

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my passion for education. With 28 years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in Math, English, Science, and study skills for elementary and middle school students. I believe in fostering a love for learning by building confidence and critical thinking rather than simple memorization. I assess individual needs through active observation, adapting my methods--from visual aids to hands-on activities--to ensure every lesson resonates. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to real-world interests, I keep students engaged and motivated. I prioritize open communication with families to build a collaborative, trusting environment. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to supporting your child's academic journey and celebrating their successes together.
