About Rowan

Hi, my name is Rowan and I just graduated from Pitzer College with a bachelor's degree in media studies! I have babysat for multiple families since I was 15 years old ( my responsibilities included driving to/from school, crafts, and tutoring) and have worked for multiple camps including Overland Summers and Tree Frog Treks. There, I led week-long camping and hiking trips for 4th and 5th graders with an emphasis on environmental advocacy and outdoor exploration and I received both my Wilderness First Responder certification as well as my CPR certification. Additionally, my dad is a public school teacher and I spent three years volunteering in his second-grade classroom. I supervised the students when he wasn't there, led them in science and math activities, and read with them one-on-one. I can help with Travel, Cooking/Meal Preparation, tutoring, and cleaning! I love working with kids and look forward to meeting yours!
