About Megan

Hi, I'm Meg! I earned my first Red Cross certification in 5th grade and have since worked in a variety of childcare capacities. I am a grad student with my own car looking for one-off or part-time opportunities. As a summer camp counselor for the Snowmass Club, I supervised groups of 15-30 campers between the ages of 6 and 12. I led weekly outdoor recreation trips ranging from local hikes to river rafting. For 4 years, I volunteered for a peer mentorship program as a "Big Buddy" for elementary and middle school students. Building one-on-one relationships refined my ability to connect with children of different ages and personalities. During the pandemic, I supported several families in a more tutor-like role, helping elementary students remain engaged with remote learning while preparing lunch and planning craft projects. Growing up in Colorado gave me an appreciation for spending time outdoors, and I enjoy volunteering for Achilles kids and Girls on the Run NYC.
