About Rowan

Caring for kids has always come naturally to me. A big part of that comes from helping raise my younger siblings at a very young age, which made me feel like being around children was something that just came naturally to me. Since then, I've built five years of experience caring for children from newborns to age 11, and throughout that time I've learned that patience, creativity, and a warm personality really matter. My babysitting experience made me realize how much I enjoy having a positive impact on children's lives while also giving families someone they can truly rely on. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time, and I make communication with parents a priority through verbal updates at pickup as well as regular texts or calls. I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules and keeping a good balance between fun and structure. I like creating an environment that is both fun and engaging.
