I didn’t know how important it was to have an English speaking nanny until I had one who didn’t. It was difficult to communicate. I had to stay longer to explain instructions and use google translate to communicate. In case of an emergency, communication would be difficult. Otherwise, she did well with my baby. Followed instructions most times but I didn’t appreciate her leaving me without a notice. She didn’t even want to say goodbye the my boy which broke my heart. She quit after 8 months, not even a one day notice. Disappointed is an understatement.
