About Rossalin

Hello Parents! My name is Rose. I'm a teacher at a public Montessori Elementary school in the west loop teaching first through third grade and sometimes subbing in Pre-K classrooms. In prior years, I taught in Pre-K for 4 years. While completing my master degree in Early Childhood Education from DePaul University, I worked as a nanny caring for children of multiple ages ranging from newborns to pre-teens. I love reading, staying active doing both indoor and outdoor activities, and hanging out with children, of course! I also sing and play guitar at my church. As the summer break is approaching, I'd love to continue working with children doing activities Chicago has to offer while maintaining their academic interest in play-based and unstructured kind of activities.
