About Tess

Hi! I'm Tess, based in the Medical District and a recent Master of Social Work (MSW) graduate from UIC. I am currently working full time as an elementary school social worker (PreK to 5th grade). I am looking for nannying or babysitting opportunities. I've worked with children since age 16 and have lots of experience. From 2017 to 2022, I was a summer camp counselor and later a site director for K to 2nd grade campers. During grad school I was an intern at CICS Bucktown (K to 8th grade), and at a developmental therapeutic preschool, supporting neurodivergent children and those with various needs. More experience: Summer 2025 - full-day nanny for a 1 y/o. care included meal prep, daily walks, play, cleaning related to childcare, and nap routines. Spring and Summer 2024 - Nanny for a 15-month-old (Fridays) and three kids (Monday to Thursday) Summer 2023 - Nanny for families in Deerfield, ages 1. 5 to 7 I have a car and regularly drive children to and from activities.
