Rose takes care of my grandchildren in their home several days per week. As a very involved grandparent and a retired teacher, I enjoy visiting and occasionally joining activities and outings that Rose and the children plan together. My grand kids love Rose for her sense of fun and adventure that incorporates learning, exploration, and imaginative play. She interacts with the children in a caring balance of respectful listening, empathy, clear expectations and consistent boundaries. Her professional background is obvious (to an adult) as she and the children "play" by exploring art, performing arts, science, math, reading, and imaginative play. Through these experiences, Rose guides the children to expand on their behavioral, communication, and critical thinking skills. Sometimes I babysit when Rose's leaves for the day, and I find the children happy and content from a satisfying, interesting day with their beloved nanny, Rose.
