Hi there! I'm Anya. I've had a love for childcare since I was little. My first job was babysitting for my math teacher's little boy, which inspired me to continue applying for jobs within the field. Over the years, I've held many titles, including Camp Counselor, Associate Toddler Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, and Nanny. I've loved and learned something from every single position I've held. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Education and found that the benefits of children spending time outdoors greatly improves their development. With that being said, as a nanny, I really focus on activities that encourage growth and development. I provide a warm, supportive, and caring environment where kids can feel safe and trusted. I believe in positive communication to help the child feel heard and understood. I love being silly, doing arts and crafts, baking, coming up with creative games, and of course, getting outside! Please message me with any questions, thank you!
If you are reading this and have the opportunity to hire Anya, congratulations, you won the nanny lottery! Anya is truly an exceptional nanny. She is calm, gentle, loving, competent, hardworking, and pleasant to spend time around. She is a clear communicator and was eager to accommodate our family's needs. She seems to genuinely adore children. It made me so happy knowing that my son got to be with someone who delighted in caring for him. I work from home, and would come out of my office to find the two of them bouncing on a pillow fort, or laughing like crazy playing some silly game. She was a constant source of fun and educational activities for him. She did art projects and sensory activities, took him to all the local playgrounds, brought him to a kids gym, local farms, social events, and storytime at the library. She sent me pictures and wrote notes about how each day went. She has tons of energy. She kept my son engaged with all of these activities and play, cooked him meals, kept him cleaned up, and still found time to clean up after everything, do laundry and dishes, clean and organize things, research child development related topics as needed, and ask if I needed things done around the house. I never felt worried about anything when Anya was watching my son. She is clearly a competent caretaker, and I really appreciated that she didn't need to be instructed, but she was also very conscientious about asking about our preferences and following our lead. Anya has my very enthusiastic recommendation. If you are lucky enough to have a chance to hire her, take it, she is fantastic.
