About Rodolpho

Hi! I'm Rodolpho, a biochemist passionate about helping students understand science, not just memorize it. I hold a PhD in Biochemistry and spent 4+ years as a Teaching Assistant for Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Arizona, working with undergraduates to break down concepts, prep for exams, and build confidence. I tailor my approach to each student's learning style: step-by-step problem sets, real-world examples, or just patience while a concept clicks. I help with general chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, and general sciences, from early schooling through college. Outside the lab, I've played competitive soccer my whole life, including leagues in Arizona, and I've coached a men's competitive team of 20+ players, teaching me to break down skills, stay encouraging, and keep people motivated. I'm endlessly curious about the world, science and history are two of my biggest passions, and I love sharing that curiosity to make learning feel like an adventure.
