About Rocio

I began working with children almost three years ago after graduating high school. Currently, I work for a school district in a preschool autism spectrum disorder (ASD) classroom, where I support children with special needs, behavioral challenges, and nonverbal communication. I tailor my approach to meet each child's unique needs, fostering their development and growth. In addition to my work in the classroom, I have experience in respite care, providing one-on-one support for a nonverbal 6-year-old. I also have experience with infant care. My passion for working with children drives me to create meaningful and supportive learning experiences. I am also a student at Sacramento State University and will most likely begin nursing school there in August. I am eager to expand my knowledge and continue making a positive impact on children's lives. I would love to hear from you, as I am very interested in this opportunity!
