About Tamara

Hello wonderful families. My name is Tamara and I'm a caring, and enthusiastic nanny/babysitter with a lot of love for working with children. I hold a bachelor's in Psychology, am CPR/first aid certified and currently work as a Behavior Technician, with my RBT certification in progress and expected by the end of this month. I have five years of experience working with children of various ages, with most of my background focused on special needs kiddos. I've supported kiddos who are nonverbal and those with challenging behavior, sensory needs, and emotional regulation difficulties, using patience, structure, and positive support to help them feel safe and understood. I'm highly creative, organized, patient, and supper bubble, and I'm happy to help with light housekeeping as well.
