About Robin

For over 10 years, I've been helping elementary students unlock their potential and achieve academic success. As a certified teacher with a college degree, I create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments, focusing on building confidence and a genuine love for learning. I carefully assess each student's unique learning style by listening and observing their initial interactions with new material, then adapt my teaching methods accordingly with visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions. I celebrate small successes and break down complex problems into manageable steps. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, progress, and expectations. The most rewarding part of tutoring is witnessing those "aha!" moments when a concept finally clicks. I can help with Math, English, Science, Art, Music & Drama, Dance, and Study Skills at various locations. I have a car and am willing to travel to you. I'm also trained in CPR and First Aid.
