About Robin

I enjoy laughing, learning, playing cards/games, reading, watching TV/movies/sports, music, nature, travel and walks. I have a degree in human services and completed a lot of graduate courses in counseling. I've spent my life working in education (K-higher ed) and social services, including over 20 years helping people of all ages and ability levels live as independently as possible. I love spending time with my 9 nieces/nephews and 7 greats, and I also enjoy dog/house-sitting. I loved being a live-in nanny in Chicago for a young toddler and a 5 y. o. many years ago, and I have a wealth of experience working w/ children/young adults w/ special needs. My FT job (911 operator) crams all my weekly hours (48+) into 4 evenings/overnights (6p-6a Wed-Sat), so my availability is limited. I can be flexible with my time off (from 7a Sun - 4p Wed).
