About Marcela

Hello! My name is Marcela, and I am a dedicated childcare professional with extensive experience supporting children of diverse ages, abilities, and backgrounds. I currently work for the North Kansas City School District within the Special Education Department, where I provide individualized support to students with a wide range of developmental and educational needs. I'm also pursuing certification as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor, specializing in working with children and adults within the neurodivergent community. My background in special education equipped me with the ability to quickly assess individual needs, implement tailored interventions to create a safe, structured and nurturing environment. I'm committed to delivering compassionate, consistent and developmentally informed care. I prioritize creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that support growth socially, emotionally and academically. My goal is to help each child feel confident, supported and engaged.
