Hello there - I recently moved from Boston to Charlotte for a change of pace and to be closer to my family, specifically my two nieces (2 y/o and 9 months old). For the last 4 years, I have been a counselor at a residential program for children and adolescents in DCF care with complex trauma and subsequent challenging behaviors. I have my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in child development. Over a year ago I took on a smaller role on the program to nanny which has been my primary job for the last year, and I have loved every second! I am currently enrolled in my Master's of Social Work part time, online, and I am looking for a nanny job M/W/F. I have my CPR & First Aid certification and am certified in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Trauma Informed Care and Medication Administration.
