About Roberta

I have been a teacher of children for over 25 years. I love teaching and supporting students in their learning. One of my key strategies in working with children is to make them feel comfortable with who they are, especially as learners and to support the skills, questions, and responses to instruction that are valid and worthy. I try to instill in my students a Can do spirit. I help them break down their learning into manageable pieces and to start where the student is regarding what they understand about a given set of skills and topic. I also find out what is of interest to them and apply those interests to their learning.
