I've been a caretaker over 10 years I have updated CPR training My experience started with volunteering with a senior group in Irvine. I learned that seniors hold a special place in my heart. I have passion to serve others. My strengths are kindness, patience, empathy and compassion. I'm a good listener , feel respected and cared about others . I have experience in caregiving for cancer patients, postoperative surgical patients, . My first patient was diagnosed with terminal cancer and I cared for him for approximately six years. I assisted with preparing meals, light house keeping, medication management, bathing, assisted with his mobility, ran errands, and kept him busy with fun activities and the home environment light and fun - music always playing softly in the background. My second patient had a stroke and was in mid-stage dementia. Being patient and compassionate was essential. I hope to hear from you soon.
