About Rita

I am passionate about helping children and adolescents learn. I can assist in all core subjects, including various levels of math, English/language arts, reading, science, and social studies. I am a very interactive tutor. I frequently do math homework problems along with my students. I guide and help them with formal or creative writing assignments, and I help them with test preparation. I also like to teach and emphasize the importance of academic organizational skills and good study habits. I enjoy interacting with children of various ages and backgrounds, and I find the experience of tutoring to be a very rewarding one on both sides. My entire career has been devoted to contributing to the well being of children, in one way or another. My goal is to do my best to help my students realize their academic potential.
