I have been a tutor for 9 years. I love helping students discover new ways of understanding difficult concepts. I take a different approach to tutoring. In school, teachers can only teach one way of doing things and can only dwell on a subject for a week or two so some students cannot fully master the subject. I seek to help students master concepts they were unable to master before. If they don't fully understand the basics, more complicated concepts will be nearly impossible to master fully. I try to help students discover the way their brain works and the way they learn things to equip them to tackle new challenges in the future. I specialize in Math up to College Algebra, Reading, English, Writing, SAT/ACT Prep, Test Taking Strategies, Memorization, and Academic Strategies for Success. In my spare time, I love reading, painting, writing poetry, singing, writing songs, and learning new things.
